CUIC is widely acknowledged as one of University's centre of bridging industry practitioners and academic together. CUIC plays the role of focus point for initiative that develop strategic university and industry partnerships and engagement which can enhance and support the core business of the university. CUIC is divided into three divisions which are Talent Management, Innovative-Industry Collaboration and Community Engagement.

Going back to its 'reason d'etre' or the reason of existence, universities are meant to serve the community with the aim of doing more good. Hence, the Centre for University-Industry Collaboration (CUIC), Universiti Utara Malaysia was established to do just that. We at CUIC see ourselves as the bridge that connects the university with the community and the industries out there.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The Community Engagement Division focuses on the pillars of social development, knowledge transfer and protecting the environment. At present, project in collaboration with Enactus UUM aim to uplift the socio-economic well being of the university's surrounding communities.

INNOVATIVE-INDUSTRY COLLABORATION

The Innovative-Industry Collaboration Division that is tasked to find and maintain good relationships with our industry partners and community leaders. We nurture these relationships through our university industry advisory panel and through various programmers like CEO @ Faculty, Stuctured Internship Program (SIP) and etc.
